Internet Film Making

Do you need to shoot footage specifically for the internet distribution? This short course covers the script to online process of shooting, editing and uploading of video for viewing on the internet. With so much of today’s content being broadcast on the internet, this is a one stop shop for learning how to be your own internet distributor.
We will cover basics and touch upon the more advanced features of shooting on PD170 DV CAM cameras, and editing on Final Cut Pro and outputting and uploading for internet broadcast.
Course Bursaries: If you are working in the UK film industry you may be eligible for a reduction to your course fee. Skillset has subsidised 4 of the 6 available places on the course so that those participants will pay just £117 each. Multi Platform Storytelling Course for TV Screenwriters
4 day Course over two weeks,
We are applying for further funding to run this course in Sept 2008.
A new course for TV screenwriters to produce multiplatform narratives and characters. Writers develop on-line stories, set up social networking accounts, publish material to the web and add interactive elements to narrative. The aim is to ensure writers can take an active role in the interactive production process.

Supported by SkillSet, the BBC and 01zero-one. Interactivity is about viewer involvement in programming. For those pitching or working on ideas, interactivity will become a component that commissioners will be looking for to tap into an audience. This course focuses on the creative development of interactive projects for multiple digital platforms that are commercially and technically viable. Making Programmes Interactive offers you the opportunity to work with industry professionals and pitch to TV executives, gaining valuable feedback and experience that can truly benefit your career. This project is funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund, the LDA and Skillset.
