A new course from 01zero-one for TV screenwriters to produce multiplatform narratives and characters. Writers develop on-line stories, set up social networking accounts, publish material to the web and add interactive elements to narrative. The aim is to ensure writers can take an active role in the interactive production process.
Digital writer Tim Wright will share a range of ideas and techniques that can empower writers to adapt and develop their creative output successfully in an increasingly complex cross-platform marketplace.
Who is it for?
6 Freelance writers in the Broadcast industry. The course is funded by the Skillset TV Freelance Fund and is offered at a greatly discounted rate. Skillset’s aim is to develop freelancers to help them make the transition from TV production to multi-platform production.
Aims:
This course will be taught in line with the Skillset National occupational standards which provide a clear description of what you need to be able to do in order to perform your job competently.
Trainer:
Tim Wright is a digital writer, an interactive producer and a director of XPT Ltd. His writing credits include two BAFTA-winning interactive projects: the comedy self help disk 'Mind Gym' and web & email drama 'Online Caroline'.
