Video Performance masterclass

Led by international video artist Oli Sorenson, This course is aimed at people wishing to expand their skill sets when using video in live environments.
Whilst some knowledge of computers is necessary to apply to this masterclass, a wide variety people can apply, from media artists to musicians or even lighting engineers.
This 4-day course will provide learners with in depth knowledge on all the angles of the trade, from exposing its culture to sharing technical tips and tricks, as well as storyboarding content and designing stage layouts.
Among other things, learners will be shown how to use video editing packages like Final Cut Pro and After Effects, VJing software including Module8 and Resolume, and video performance hardware from Edirol, Pioneer, Numark, Green Hippo and more. In addition, guest lecturers will be invited to introduce learners to using video with interactive techniques like MIDI, DMX and Max.
