Compositing Coach courses’ at 01zero-one have been designed to establish the craft of vfx compositing step by step and from a post house work perspective.

The training is focused around typical 2d* production problems - you'll be supported in learning the techniques step by step, using current industry software. All of our tutors work in the post house sector as digital compositors. The material we use to work with on the courses has been donated by Rushes Post Production and Men From Mars.

Being the forward thinking folks we are at Compositing Coach, we have decided to adopt Nuke 5 as our core training package. We are excited about the new possibilities this software has to offer and can now announce our 'Nuke artist Series' courses. Post houses are waiting to make the leap to the new software until there are enough trained Compositors using the tool. So you could be the first of the new practitioners.

In addition to our popular digital preparation course, previously ran in Shake - we'll be supporting artists as they make the transition from comping in 2d to 3d and offering training in Nukes' new image based keyer.

*2d in this context, is another visual effects industry term for compositing.
